Ormiston Primary School is a new Year 1 to 6 state primary school to be opened on 2nd February 2015 at Flat Bush, Manukau, Auckland – next to Ormiston Senior College.
The Minister of Education has appointed an establishment board, members of which are:
Karen Gibson (Chair), Lisa Neish, Margaret Patrick, Lakhmi Venkatesan, Alan Curtis
The establishment board will ensure the school opens on time and meets the requirements of a fully operational school. It will be replaced by an elected board comprising parent representatives from about the middle of 2015.
Hi there is the school a normal school like a funded by government school or is a private religious school like Santa Maria Primary School???and are enrolments open yet for the year 2015?
Ormiston Primary School is a State School – funded by the government. The pre-enrolments will open in a few weeks time. You can however, in the meantime, complete the ‘Intention to Enrol’ form on our website.
Hi. We are moving to New Zealand in January 2015. We are planning to enroll our 2 children into Ormiston Primary School as we will be living in that zone. Would it be too late if we enroll them in January next year?
