Caroline Bush

Caroline  joins us from St Ignatius School in St Heliers where she is currently Director of e-Learning and Team Leader of the senior school (Years 4-6) .

Caroline is a hugely enthusiastic collaborative team player, who thrives on challenges. She has completed a Masters of Educational Leadership through the Australian Catholic University. In 2011, she was awarded a TeachNZ Scholarship to complete a Post-Graduate Diploma in e-Learning and Digital technologies.

Caroline is passionate about Teaching as Inquiry and rises to any opportunity to learn from her extensive Personal Learning Network. She is a regular presenter at Educamps, Ignite and Educafe events.

Caroline is looking forward to collaborating with a great team to create some awesome learning opportunities for the learners at Ormiston Primary School.

She is excited about meeting all the new Ormiston learners and helping them reach their goals.

 

Diana Wilkes

Diana joins us from Cognition Education where she is the Assistant Regional Team Leader for Learning with Digital technologies where she works collaboratively across a wide range of contributing and full primary schools in the Auckland region guiding leadership and teachers to use digital technologies through the teaching as inquiry model.  This has enabled teachers and schools to evidence their impact on student learning, particularly with regards to priority learners.Alongside this role, she is a Science Learning Hub facilitator who is passionate about cultivating curiosity.

Diana holds a number of teaching and educational qualifications, including Masters in Educational Technology.  She is a lifelong learner- currently working towards a Masters in Education (Professional Learning) at the University of Waikato.  She has taught and facilitated in ICT and Science, both in New Zealand and overseas. Diana has a great deal of experience with coaching, mentoring and developing teacher effectiveness.

Diana is committed to create opportunities for innovation in the teaching and learning process and enabling learners to drive their own learning. She has also shared her knowledge through presenting at national educational conferences such as ULearn.

Diana is looking forward to helping all of the learners in the Ormiston Primary School community achieve success through personalised pathways in our exciting, world-class, innovative learning environment.
